Welcome to our latest newsletter! This month, we’re all about good things. We’ve got a competition that’s sure to indulge your sweet tooth, and we’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team. But first, a reminder about our brilliant and very popular Level Switches.
One cannot understand how magnets work without a cursory grasp of Quantum Field Theory (just saying). But when we use them in instrumentation, such as in the Nivelco Nivomag, we can switch levels without any physical connection between the float and the switch.
This allows us to be able to create Ex rated switches, or build switches that are mechanically super tough without impacting on the ease of switching and many other advantages.
The Nivomag is an exemplar of this technology. Here we have switches that can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C, pressures of 25-Bar, a phenomenal 5 year warranty, and with Ingress protection of IP65, IP68 and even 20 metres under water in some cases!
Identify the mystery object below and be in to win “sweet delicious chocolate arrgghhhhhhhh”
One may give the correct answer, or be creative! The most imaginative or funny answers win.
Your name will not be displayed with your answer when we advise of the winners! (Just initials e.g. Steve B suggested that it is a core remover for crab apples)

Hi, I’m Greg and I joined the Intech team in December 2022. I have been in technical sales for far longer than I care to remember. My hairline and waistline being testament to this. I’ve had a great sales career, but I’m quite different in personality as I’m a Myers Briggs INFJ (if you know, you know). So I’m not the Alpha-male so often associated with the sales folk of the world. I’m proud that customers I’ve dealt with over the last 30 years remain happy to see me, and know that I bring value.
It’s so cliche that I hesitate to say it, but I really do care about my/our customers being satisfied and happy with the solutions I’ve provided. I’ve been awfully careful about not burning bridges I pass over.
