Description
The Oval gear meter is a precise positive displacement flowmeter incorporating a pair of oval geared rotors. These meters are capable of measuring the flow of a broad range of clean liquids.
Stainless Steel flowmeters are suited to most liquid products and chemicals; including many water based liquids, acids, bases and salt solutions, and Aluminium meters are suitable for fuels, oils & most non-aggressive lubricating liquids.
Oval Gear flowmeters are available as blind meters with a pulse signal output capable of interfacing to most monitoring and control instrumentation, or the meter can be fitted with instruments such as totalisers, rate totalisers or batch controllers. These instruments also have monitoring and control output options including 4-20mA, scaled pulse, flow-rate

The FLOMEC® Small Capacity OM Series Oval Gear meters are well suited to measurement of very low flow rates of various additives, chemicals, fuels, lubricants, and purified waters. Exceptional accuracy and reliability can be obtained on clean liquids of almost any viscosity.
Particularly when flow rates are very low and the viscosity is high, small capacity OM-Series meters provide exceptional performance, while other technologies can provide disappointing results.

The FLOMEC® Medium Capacity OM-Series Oval Gear meters are well suited to precise measurement of fuels, oils, solvents, alcohols, mildly aggressive chemicals, and various other clean industrial liquids. Flow rates from 1L/min to 450L/min, combined with low pressure drop, weights and measures (A/NZ only) and various hazardous area certifications make the medium capacity OM-Series meters well suited to almost any liquid transfer or dispensing application whether pumped or gravity-fed.

The FLOMEC® OM025 PPS (Ryton) Oval Gear meters are an exceptionally cost-effective alternative to a stainless-steel meter when chemical resistance is critical, but pressures and temperatures are low.
With internal components constructed entirely from PPS (Ryton) and Alumina ceramic the OM025P Chemical Meter is well suited to precise measurement of non-potable water, fertilizers, herbicides, diesel exhaust fluid, and a wide range aggressive, or corrosive chemicals where standard engineering metals are not suitable.
OM Series Oval Gear Chemical flow meters are an economical solution for measuring an aggressive or corrosive liquid.
