Humidity is a very common measurement in many process plants.

Timber kilns, Hospital operating theatres and Art galleries etc. are all places where having the correct humidity is crucial.

Intech offer the above two Models of Humidity Sensor which measure the capacitance between specially coated conductive electrodes. The greater the humidity, the greater the capacitance and this is entirely dependent on the water content in the air.

The LPN-H is a complete relative humidity and temperature sensing module, with two loop powered 4~20mA output signals, representing 0~100% RH and 0~100ºC.
 

The LPN-H-CAL system is available and designed to allow in situ calibration of LPN-H-W and LPN-H-D humidity transmitters.  

Two Canisters containing humidity regulating salt solution are supplied , one for the 75% Relative Humidity reference and one for the 33% Relative Humidity reference.
